Assemble dolly frames and attach casters using mechanical connections. Assembly includes using a compound miter saw to cut pieces of material to length and connecting that material together along with casters using a drill and an impact. The final step will be to add a protective layer of carpet on the ends using a hand stapler.

This project is intended to be completed in small groups and once complete will be implemented into daily use within the scene shop at the PAC. No prior knowledge of tooling is required, all tools needed will be used under supervision of the instructor and after a training session has been completed (as part of the workshop). This is a hands- on activity! Come curious and excited to learn something new!

All participants must wear close toed and close heeled shoes. Avoid overly loose or baggy clothing and jewelry. Choose to wear comfortable but sturdy clothing that you do not mind getting a little messy. Long and loose hair must be tied back. All personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided.
Food Provided (Coffee and donuts!)
