Composition Workshop with songwriter, Bret Levick. Workshop will cover some composition techniques and will include student participation. He will be sharing some helpful tips and tricks to use in your songs and compositions including ways to hear and come up with hooks or “ear worms”. Please feel free to bring in a song we can analyze. Also, feel free to bring your instruments to this workshop.

Bret Levick, an acclaimed American singer-songwriter and renowned lyricist, has captivated audiences worldwide for over two decades with his thoughtfully crafted songwriting and unique musical and vocal styles.
In the late 90s, his indie breakout band GifHorse soared up the commercial radio charts with their single "Heather's Arrest." Since then, Bret's songs and compositions have been featured in hundreds of TV series such as Shameless, Lucifer, Portlandia, Grey's Anatomy, and Sons Of Anarchy — sports broadcasts for NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, as well as in multiple feature films and video games.
