These are open to all and all levels are welcome. There is a drumset, piano, bass, and guitar amps in the space. A healthy jam session requires a solid and committed rhythm section, so we are hoping these grow into something students can count on. Maybe you can't make it this week, but you know it will be around next week. That's the kind of consistency we hope will take hold with these.
Please be respectful of the jams at all times and allow Ben to lead things unless otherwise noted. Check out the links below to review jam session etiquette before you attend.
The biggest things are:
-Be respectful to one another
-Share the stage with others
-Be respectful to the space (leave the room how you left it)
-Approach the jams with at least a few songs in mind. Best options are blues tunes, or jazz standards
-It's ok to come and just watch
