Welcome Back!
I can't believe that we are one week away from the start of the new Fall semester. I hope everyone had an enjoyable summer and will return to campus refreshed and ready to tackle another year! For me, this summer was a season of much-needed change.
It was a joy to work with some of you during the summer research program, and I cannot wait to meet the rest of you at our Family Meeting in a couple weeks. I have been working on incorporating some new aspects of the program, such as the Graduate School Application series and new social media platforms. (Read below for more info on these!)
If there are any other suggestions that you have for improvements to the program, I would love to hear them! I am working on-campus Monday through Thursday (9-5 pm) in CPC 2730 and virtually on Fridays. Please drop by and say hello!
Best wishes,
Alexis

Graduating this year?
Check out our Series on Graduate School Applications! Alexis has experience advising undergrads through the grad school application process and sat on a graduate school selection committee; she will run this series of workshops to help you create a strong application.
There are planned topics that include getting letters of recommendation and preparing a CV/resume, but there will also be dedicated time to write and share your application materials with peers.
The first workshop is on Wednesday, September 4. See Campus Groups events for more details.
