Graduate and Professional Student (GPS) Recruitment Initiative at OSU

Good morning, I hope this email finds you well.

My name is Elana and I am a member of the Department of Psychology’s Graduate Student Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Committee at The Ohio State University. Our department is one of many departments at OSU that partners with the Office of Diversity and Inclusion to host the annual Graduate and Professional Student (GPS) Recruitment Initiative. We are inviting students interested in graduate school at Ohio State for an in-depth, two-day visit to OSU’s campus.

I am reaching out to see if you can share information about OSU’s 2023 GPS Visit with your McNair Scholars. This would be particularly relevant for senior scholars who are interested in learning more about pursuing a graduate or professional degree at Ohio State.

Students accepted to the GPS program receive a graduate school application fee waiver, hotel accommodations, meals, and $300 travel credit. Attached are the GPS flyer and Psychology department information sheet. Although our committee is especially excited about meeting students who are interested in learning more about the Psychology Department, this recruitment program is open to prospective students for all participating departments.
