What's happening this week? NHRL Watch Party! During the general meeting, Combat Robotics will have a live stream of the NHRL competition playing in their meeting room, A420. If you're interested in Combat Robotics and aren't sure how to get started, stop by to watch and learn from our current members.
We are hosting another PacBot event! The PacBot team has been working hard to prepare their robot, and this on-campus event taking place on the 18th. Our PacBot team will be competing against other schools to see whose PacBot is the best. Will we hold our 1st Place title? Find out by watching the live stream. More details will be available in the next couple of weeks on where to watch and which schools are attending.
The semester's end is nearing soon, and with it come some great events. The largest being Imagine RIT. Stop by, say hi, and look at all the exhibitions around campus. If you're available, you can also help show off the robots we've been working on. We will be setting up at 8:30 am and cleaning up around 5:50 pm.
More details on the L3 Harris event are here. The event is a Bring Your Child to Work Day. It will take place on the 23rd at their facility, 20 minutes from campus. We will begin preparations at 8:00 am and clear out at 12:30 pm. We are creating interactive displays of our robots for the event. More specific details are still in development. If you have any ideas you would like to pitch, feel free to share them during our general meeting.
Hope to see you there!
