About RIT Cosplay Troupe

RIT Cosplay Troupe is an RIT-affiliated club dedicated to the hobby of cosplay through costume creation, prop fabrication, cosplay events, and theatrical performances. Everyone of all skill levels from complete beginner to well-seasoned veteran is welcome to join the troupe! General membership is completely free, but purchasing a paid membership includes a snazzy member ID card (grants a discount at Hammergirl Anime), access to various machinery, tools, and materials for making cosplays, as well as a $5.00 discount on tickets to all of our events!

We meet weekly every Friday from 8:00-10:00 PM EST on campus, and the last Friday meetings of every month are Cosplay Days (always encouraged, never required)! Our Friday meetings will typically be an informational presentation or another fun cosplay-related activity, so please feel welcome to swing by anytime and check us out!

In addition to our Friday meetings, we host a variety of events and performances throughout the year such as our two Cosplay Chess shows, our fall and spring dances, and our very own cosplay convention in January! See the events page for more information on what we host!
