Want leadership advice that actually fits your life as a busy student? Join us for a fast‑paced, practical, and inspiring session with Katia K. Hudspeth—a global people leader, RIT alumna, and organizational development strategist who has built her career helping teams thrive in high‑impact environments.

Katia’s journey spans Croatia, Canada, Europe, and the U.S., with leadership roles at world‑class hospitality organizations like The Ritz‑Carlton, The Beverly Hills Hotel & Bungalows, and the Maybourne and Dorchester Collection. Her work centers on building strong cultures, developing talent, and helping organizations grow through people-first leadership.

As a former RIT student leader—Women’s Senator in Student Government, President of RIT Toastmasters, and Leadership Scholar—Katia understands the pressures students face and how to build confidence, communication skills, and career direction while juggling everything else in life.

Now an HR Business Partner at Primex Clinical Laboratories and a graduate student in Industrial‑Organizational Psychology at the University of Georgia, Katia brings real-world expertise backed by certifications including Gallup CliftonStrengths® Coach and DiSC® PPA Practitioner.

What you’ll get from this session:
- Clear, actionable leadership strategies you can use right away
- Tips for understanding your strengths and navigating team dynamics
- Insights on building a meaningful career (without burning out)
- Real talk from an RIT alum who’s been where you are

Food will be provided, so come hungry and ready to grow.

Students requiring accommodations may contact myaccess.rit.edu to request interpreting support.
