Momentum II: Allyship & Belonging

Join us for Momentum II, a transformative leadership development experience designed for students who have completed Momentum I and/or have demonstrated leadership on campus. This full-day program centers on the themes of Allyship and the leadership competencies of Collaboration and Sense of Belonging.
Through interactive workshops, dialogue, and reflection, participants will deepen their understanding of inclusive leadership and explore how to foster belonging within their communities.

This program is offered in partnership with the Women Gender Sexuality Resource Center and is part of the RIT Momentum Leadership Series.
About the Women, Gender, and Sexuality Resource Center (WGSRC)
The WGSRC at RIT fosters an inclusive campus community by providing advocacy, education, and celebration for students of all genders, gender identities, and sexual orientations. Located in Campus Center 2010, the center supports diverse identities and lived experiences through dynamic programming and resources.
Key offerings include:
PRISM: A progressive intersectional space with a low sensory room and access to the Wallace Library’s Gender and Sexuality section.
Resource Wall: Free pronoun and identity pins, hygiene and menstrual products.
Signature Events:
Lighting the Way: A welcoming ceremony and lantern march for women and nonbinary students
Rainbow Prom: A celebration for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community
Empowerment Expo: Campus and community resources for women and nonbinary students
The Collective Presents: Speaker series highlighting identity-based topics
