Details

Originally from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Omar’s journey has taken him from earning his bachelor’s in industrial engineering to completing his Master of Engineering in engineering management at RIT. With over a decade of experience as an engineer, consultant, trainer, and professor, he is now pursuing a Ph.D. focused on using data analytics to improve energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact.

A strong advocate for sustainability and mentorship, Omar has supported RIT’s green initiatives and guided students through organizations like ECCO and M.O.C.H.A. Now, as part of the RIT Alumni Association Board of Directors, he continues to inspire others to create meaningful change.

Join us for an evening with Omar as he shares his journey, lessons learned, and insights on making a lasting impact.

Food will be provided.
