Black Graduation

Please note this is a closed event (only RIT students, staff, and faculty may be in attendance).

The purpose of this student-driven event is to recognize and celebrate the success and hard work of Black students here at RIT. Seeing as though Black students at RIT have one of the lowest graduation rates, we believe that it is very important to shed light on the accomplishment of graduating from a prestigious institution such as RIT. This event is open to all RIT students and faculty/staff as a place to acknowledge the achievements of the graduates. We believe this is an event that will not only bring the Black community closer together but the RIT community as a whole. This celebration will include speeches, awards, performances, and food!
