What is Deep Learning?

Is it some complicated AI algorithm? Perhaps a way to simulate humans with high accuracy? Or maybe its just a catchy name that people like to use to describe all of AI? Come find out tonight at 7-8pm in GOL-1400 where I'll be going over Deep Learning basics!
