Subject: RIT AI Week 8: Deepfakes
Can you believe what you see?
Most of you have likely seen a video at some point of some famous individual giving a speech or talking to someone that ended up being entirely made up. Those were likely some form of deepfake and as we get more and more advanced in them it can get hard to figure out what is real and what isn't. For this reason deepfakes are one of the main areas being researched in AI. If you'd like to learn more about the topic, come watch our Education Officer, Quinn, talk about deepfakes and some of the current technologies out there.
