About Us

RIT Autonomous Racing is RIT's entry into the Indy Autonomous Challenge (IAC) competition being ran by the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS) and Energy System Network (ESN).

We are an autonomous racing team in the Kate Gleason College of Engineering (KGCOE) at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). We welcome students from all majors including, but not limited to engineering, engineering technology, business, and liberal arts.

Our current team is a mix of interdisciplinary students with different levels of experience ranging from undergraduate to graduate in the fields of computer engineering and electrical engineering. We believe in giving all the members a chance to explore their interests and apply their skills on the project and also learn more about the emerging technological advancement and challenges related to autonomous driving.
